Student Worker & Church Leader Coaching

We want to equip leaders within the local church to ensure they can go about their ministry in the best way possible

Coaching Cohorts gather 4-6 student workers online at least termly for peer coaching and support. Share your challenges, help one another grow in leadership and confidence, share ideas and build relationships with other student workers.
We have three types of Coaching Cohort - Student Workers, (Student Mission) Outreach Workers and Pioneering. Sign up for a cohort.

6 sessions with a Student Mission Coach to process and explore an area of challenge or opportunity in your student ministry. Request an initial exploration session.

Fusion have partnered with Just Sow to see more student mission ideas funded! Coaching is available to support you through a student mission funding application and outworking with Just Sow.

Student mission training

Student mission training grows confidence and creativity in your students, whether at a student night, weekend away, online or other gathered occasion.

Equipping students, student leaders and volunteers with practical tools for relational discipleship—focusing on how to ask powerful questions, listen deeply, and build trust that leads to transformed lives and help make disciples who make disciples!

Training for students on impactful, missional small groups - can be delivered in up to three parts: Discipleship, Mission and Student Leadership
This training accompanies our Small Groups, Big Mission resource

How does our personality and learning style impact how we share - and receive - the gospel? Help your students grow in confidence in sharing their faith, and gain insight in how to do so with impact.

What does it look like to release students to share their faith creatively? What new mission ideas might unlock their confidence and impact in seeing their friends come to faith?
This can be delivered as a 1 or 2 session combination.

Training for church leaders, student work volunteers or student teams on how to pioneer student work from scratch (or re-boot your student work).

Helping the church send young people to university in faith, confidence and community.

Equipping the church in preparing young people well for university life
Primarily this is delivered as training for those supporting young people through this season (youth workers, spiritual parents, etc.)
We can also discuss helping to facilitate prep for uni in your context

Mission Styles led to new invitations to church

Fusion's Mission Styles opened up new conversations and provided fresh language for our student community at St Nicks. It provided some great tools to missionally connect with mates. As a result, we saw new invitations to church and found the training allowed students to authentically share Jesus with their friends in a way that was unique to their personality. I would recommend the training if you are looking to provide fresh air to your evangelistic efforts in your community!

Nothing but positive praise

I have nothing but positive praise for the student worker coaching cohort. I love how you have made a space for us to come with our problems and just chat that through with each other and realise we’re not the only ones going through the same thing. The way you format it so that people ask questions really helps me process and think things through for myself. I always think it’s so much more effective to do it like this and to hear about how people have navigated similar situations. It’s had such a positive impact on me and has been a huge blessing.
